Annual meeting of shareholders of "The central telegraph" elected new board of directors

Annual meeting of shareholders of "The central telegraph" elected on June 5 (TsT) new board of directors. Six representatives of "Rostelecom" and one independent director entered it, the executive vice-president of the mentioned parent company Alexander Rogovoy became the chairman.
The press service of the operator reported about it on June 5.
Except Horn entered into board of directors the vice-president for administrative matters of JSC Rostelecom – the director of macroregional branch "Moscow" Alexander Abramkov, the adviser of this operator Dmitry Bragin, the director of the department of management of affiliated and dependent societies Alexander Kolesnikov, the senior vice-president – the finance director Kaj-Uwe Melchorn, the senior vice-president – the commercial director Larisa Tkachuk and Vladimir Bulgak holding posts of the Deputy Prime Minister in 1997-1999 and the Minister of Communications in 1990-1997.
The CEO of JSC Central Telegraph Alexander Snytko who entered a position at the beginning of April noted that in 2013 the operator reached growth in a target segment of the market of telecommunication and achieved considerable expansion of base of broadband Internet access (ShPD) both in B2C segment, and in the direction of B2B. The company showed growth of net profit and indicators of OIBDA and OIBDA margin, and also significantly lowered the debt loading.
According to the top manager, the main objective of the company in 2014 – further increase of operational efficiency, achievement of the maximum synergetic effect at interaction with "Rostelecom" and realization of joint initiatives, especially regarding work with B2C segment.
The meeting approved dividends of 0,1104166 rub for ordinary and 0,5234881 rub – on the preference share. The company will direct 18,35 million rubles on payments for common stocks, and on the exclusive – 28,995 million rubles. The total amount of dividends will make about 47,345 million rubles that more than three times will exceed payments in 2012 (13,2 million rubles).
