The
ActiveCloud by Softline company finished the project on transfer in
"cloud" of IT infrastructure of the Evropart Rus company and
organization of a cloudy environment for 200 workplaces. As reported CNews in
Softline, such approach allowed to centralize IT resources, to cut down
expenses, and also to optimize and make more convenient work of users of head
office and regional representative offices, to provide them necessary technical
support.
The
Evropart Rus company – the representative of the Europart holding delivering
spare parts and the equipment for cargo transport and municipal equipment in
Russia. Now "Evropart Rus" has 27 outlets and 5 branches. The company
uses the ERP solution of own development providing automation of a full
production cycle: from the order of spare parts at suppliers before their
shipment to clients, and also warehousing and the account, logistics. Besides,
in "Evropart Rus" standard office and post programs, etc. are applied
"1s:bukhgalteriya". The decisions used by the customer – centralized:
all main systems are installed on servers at head office, and access on the
protected channels is provided to branches. Such approach demands the powerful
equipment, reliability of communication channels and ensuring service in the
mode 24/7 taking into account geographically distributed structure of the
company.
In
process of development of a branch network for "Evropart Rus" there
were critical breaks in service resulting from various failures, such as
refusals of power supply at the central office, interruption in Internet
connection. Besides, the company felt need for modernization of the server
equipment, and support of work of IT infrastructure in the round-the-clock mode
demanded resources and essential financial expenses. Thus, for the company it
was necessary or considerable modernization of the IT equipment and expansion
of IT department (such approach was recognized economically unprofitable), or
transition to cloudy infrastructure.
By
search of the supplier of cloud-services the Evropart Rus company carried out
monitoring of opportunities of the providers presented in the market and as a
result chose ActiveCloud by Softline. The technical solution of the company was
for the customer optimum at the cost and his requirements conforming to all,
noted in Softline. Including the choice for ActiveCloud by Softline was caused
by possibility of granting by provider of the service SLA Premium including the
round-the-clock support with allocation of the individual technical manager and
the availability of infrastructure of 99,95% confirmed with financial
guarantees.

Rus" in the Russian market develops quickly. Therefore to us – as well as
any growing company – automation of business processes, possibility of flexible
management of IT resources is important. And, respectively, the decision
allowing to pay only those capacities which were really used" was

company declared.
According
to Softline, at the moment the company uses a farm of virtual servers. It
includes Enterprise resource planning with which more than 200 employees of the
customer across all Russia, the SQL databases, application servers, terminal
servers work. The full-fledged infrastructure of remote desktops which copes
centrally is created. As a result users receive a ready working environment
with all necessary appendices. Any employee, Moscow or regional, has
possibility of connection to resources necessary to it. Besides, thanks to VPN
the system ensures additional safety of data.
Use
of cloudy infrastructure of ActiveCloud allowed to solve "Evropart
Rus" a problem of centralization of IT that lowered costs of their
service. Experts of ActiveCloud provide the round-the-clock technical support
of operating systems and appendices of the customer. The system of monitoring
which in the automatic mode traces availability and loading of parameters of
servers is installed, informs on changes, sending notices to experts
"Evropart Rus" and to engineers of cloud-provider at achievement of
threshold values. The control panel which shows loading of resources of servers
in real time is in addition adjusted and provides the reporting for the set
period.
