"Rostelecom" connects new territories of Krasnoyarsk Krai and Khakassia to IPTV

"Rostelecom" provided technical capability of providing the service "Interactive TV" in five new settlements of the Republic of Khakassia and Krasnoyarsk Krai

The Krasnoyarsk branch of JSC "Rostelecom" provided technical capability of providing the service "Interactive TV" in five new settlements of the Republic of Khakassia and Krasnoyarsk Krai.

Thanks to active implementation of the program for development of networks of broadband Internet access by the Rostelecom company inhabitants of east part of Lower Angara Region of Krasnoyarsk Krai – the city of Kodinsk, and also small settlements of Khakassia can estimate now flagman services and a high level of quality of digital television: Small Spirin, villages Big Erba, Tabat and Ust-Kamyshta aat.

"Our task as the largest multiservice provider to make difficult technological services simple and comfortable in use and, the most important, available to the maximum number of subscribers, – the deputy director  of Krasnoyarsk branch of JSC "Rostelecom" – the commercial director Vladimir Kubarev notes. – "Interactive TV" is essentially new view on telewatching and the highest level of quality of habitual "picture". Service constantly develops, grows new interesting options. So, at the end of 2013 we presented to our subscribers the Karaoke service which at once became very popular. We are very glad what to estimate it and many other advantages of IPTV today, on an equal basis with the regional centers, also inhabitants of bigger number of small and remote settlements can".

"Interactive TV" includes more than 210 digital channels of various subject – for example, 32 film channels, 16 musical, 36 informative, 20 sports, 14 nurseries and 32 in a format of high resolution (HDTV). Besides quality various video content, service includes a wide  set of additional interactive services, such, as "Karaoke" and "Video  on demand".

Besides, the platform used by "Rostelecom" gives to subscribers the chance  to receive information on weather, exchange rates and news of this service in real time. The interface allows to look also at a complete description, the name of channels and a program schedule for them.  Integration with social networks which allows to estimate one pressing of the button the pleasant movie or TV program  is provided in a product, and also to share with friends impressions about viewing.
