"Vympelcom" plans to start until the end of 2014 the LTE network in Tyumen


The Tyumen branch of JSC "Vympelcom" (a brand "Beeline") plans to begin in October-November, 2014 testing of a communication network of the fourth generation of LTE (4G) in Tyumen, reported in the press service of mobile network operator. "Initially the city did not get to the list where the network of the fourth generation "Beeline" has to appear in 2014. However readiness of the Tyumen networks will allow to begin testing in October-November of the current year. Most likely, technically we will be ready in the fourth quarter, however we will give start after resolution of the regulator", – specified in the press service of the operator. Also the source added that base stations with the increased concentration of a traffic, that is, first of all, shopping centers will be modified first of all under the LTE standard. In the Tyumen region (without Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area) for 2013 it was constructed and entered operation 71 base stations 3G and 35 stations 2G.
