JSC Vympelcom (a brand "Beeline") carried out preparation of a network for the raised loading during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, and also started 4G on a forum venue.

In the territory of Lenekspo exhibition complex where passes PMEF, network capacity for the admission of large volumes of a traffic is significantly increased, and also the LTE (4G) network is started. Data transmission speeds in the LTE network repeatedly exceed indicators 3G and provide instant loading of the sites, photos and video.

"In 2014 we conduct large-scale construction of a network 4G in St. Petersburg. In the first quarter our efforts were concentrated on residential areas of the city, today we start the central part and important city objects, in particular developed a network 4G at the Moscow station and in "Pulkovo". We are glad to offer possibilities of a network of new generation and to our clients who this year participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum", – Alexey Kazayev, the technical director of the Northwest region of JSC Vympelcom noted.

"Beeline" brought a network 4G in St. Petersburg into commercial operation on March 11, 2014. Now it covers the territory in which lives 70% of the population of the city, and a number of the cities of the Leningrad region. The maximum speed makes 74 Mbit / c.
