The Tele2 Russia company expanded a network cover zone in the Cymric region of the Tver region


Tele2 continues to expand a network cover zone in the Tver region. The new base station is established in the regional center Kimry.

Start-up of a new base station will allow to expand the area of a covering of a network and to improve a communication quality on Mira Street and Titov Drive in the city of Kimry. Visitors of the gardens of the regional center also will feel considerable improvement of quality of a voice communication.

During the whole 2013 and the first quarter 2014 of Tele2 put new objects of network infrastructure into commercial operation and actively upgraded the operative equipment. For this period new base stations of Tele2 opened in fourteen areas, including in Ostashkovsky, Torzhoksky, Maksatikhinsky, Vyshnevolotsky, Kalinin, Rzhev, Konakovsky, Staritsky areas. Soon it is planned to expand a network in the cities of Vesyegonsk, Toroptsa and Nelidov.

Dmitry Plotnikov, technical director of Tele2 Tver: "According to the program of development of infrastructure technical specialists of Tele2 Tver regularly hold events for improvement of a communication quality and expansion of a coverage zone of a network. This huge and systematic work becomes in order that inhabitants of all settlements of the Tver region – both big cities, and small villages – were provided with high-quality and available communication. A communication quality, along with favorable tariffs, long ago became the main criteria of a choice of the mobile operator. Technical works are performed both in the planned mode, and on the basis of addresses of our subscribers. Therefore we urge our subscribers to provide feedback concerning quality of the services Tele2".

The technical works which are carried out in 2013 and in the first quarter 2014 allowed to increase fault tolerance of a network in the following settlements: Torzhok, Vyshny Volochyok, Bologom, Rameshkakh, Bezhetsk, Kashin, Kalyazin, Kimry, Konakovo. Tele2 also provided a steady signal on Oktyabrskaya Railway and on federal highways Moscow – St. Petersburg and Moscow – Riga.

In general in the territory of a covering of a network lives 96% of the population of the Tver region.
