Popularity of a portal of the state services sharply grew

The Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation notes keen interest of citizens in a portal of the state services (EPGU). According to the statistics of visit of a portal of state services and authorization on it through uniform system of identification and authentication (ESIA), the number of registration, record for the last year, on EPGU portal – 33,5 thousand new users was recorded on May 13, 2014. From them 9,3 thousand people were registered during the period from 9 to 21 o'clock Moscow time.

"Since the beginning of 2014 we note increase in number of the registered users of Uniform system of identification and authentication", – the director of the department of development of the electronic government of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Vladimir Averbakh told.

The number of the users registered in ESIA constantly grows since the beginning of February. From February 3 to February 9, 2014 in ESIA 12,9 thousand users per day were registered on average. In March this indicator increased to 14 thousand, and in the first week of May reached 16,1 thousand new users.

The number of visits of EPGU grows also. The record for the last year was set on May 12, 2014, then on a portal 210 thousand users became authorized.

Registration in ESIA gives to citizens of Russia access to electronic resources and the services provided on the state portals. Authorized officers of executive authorities of the Russian Federation by means of the account in ESIA get access to the state information resources. Also registration in ESIA is necessary for authorization of departmental information systems for the subsequent interdepartmental electronic interaction.
