"MegaFon" carried out works on modernization of a network 3G in the Oryol region


"MegaFon" carried out works on modernization of a network of the third generation (3G) in the Oryol region.

The cover zone in the settlements of Kroma, Startsevo and Saltyka, Kind is expanded. Average speed of loading in above-mentioned settlements averages now 2,5 Mbps. Specialists of "MegaFon" continue to carry out works on expansion of a network 3G in all territory of the Oryol region. It will allow to increase the speed of mobile Internet access and to increase reliability of work of a voice communication.

"MegaFon" along with development of a network 4G+, still pays close attention to modernization of a network of the third generation in rural regions of area where the population has no opportunity to use the wire Internet", – the director of the Oryol office of "MegaFon" Sergey Zakharov noted.
