Tele2 invests in development of a network in the Voronezh region more than 400 million rubles

Tele2 and the government of the Voronezh region concluded the agreement of intent in the sphere of development of communication services. According to arrangements the company intends to invest more than 400 million rubles in development of cellular infrastructure of the region within one and a half years.

The agreement is signed by the acting as the governor of the Voronezh region Alexey Gordeyev and the CEO of Tele2 Mikhail Noskov.

The purpose of the agreement is interaction of Tele2 and the government of the Voronezh region in the sphere of development of telecommunication infrastructure of the region, increase in investments into economy of the region and implementation of joint social and economic projects.

According to the document, the Voronezh region will be one of priority regions for start of services of mobile broadband Internet access. In addition, Tele2 will continue to invest means in increase in capacity and increase of reliability of the operating network 2G.

Signing of the agreement of intent solves an important social problem – expansion of a cover zone and capacity of a network of inexpensive mobile communication. The investment project provides both large-scale new construction, and modernization of the existing objects of network infrastructure.
