The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) approved petitions from NetByNet
Internet service provider for acquisition of 100% of actions of JSC Advantedzh Telecom and JSC
Aston.
About it it is told in the FAS decisions published on Thursday on the
official site of department. Petitions for purchase of 100% of actions of two
companies situated near Moscow – "Advantedzh Telecom" and "Aston" – from JSC Nat
Bai Nat Holding arrived FULL FACE on May
30 this year.
On Friday, June 6, the press service of NetByNet refused comments.
According to the analyst "Investkaf" Timur Nigmatullin, M&A-активность NetByNet it is connected with need of development in
its parent company – JSC "Megafon" – wire infrastructure for
improvement of quality of rendering of services of 3G/4G-communication.
"It is especially actual for the Moscow region in anticipation of
arrival of JV Tele2 and JSC Rostelecom ("T2 PTK Holding" – ComNews
Comment)", – Timur Nigmatullin noted in conversation with the reporter of
ComNews.
NetByNet buys these telecommunication companies for expansion of own client base in
the Moscow region on already created structure of the organizations, the
analyst of MFX Broker Sergey Nekrasov in turn added.
"Purchase of data of the companies will allow to consolidate assets
and to provide to clients of Moscow area high-quality and competitive services
in providing Internet access
and television. Thanks to this NetByNet will be able to increase a share in the
telecommunication market", – Sergey Nekrasov concluded in conversation
with ComNews.
At the beginning of May of this year the head of NetByNet Andrey Batanov
declared that in 2014 the operator intends to expand a covering, to improve
quality of the provided services, and
also to increase subscriber base more than by 20%, including due to development
in new regions – in the Northwest and in Primorye.
For last year the revenue of NetByNet in comparison with 2012 grew by
60%, to 4,14 billion rubles. The subscriber base of the operator increased by
47% and made 746 thousand users. According to "MegaFon" for 2013, the
subscriber base of NetByNet includes 710 thousand natural persons and more than
36 thousand corporate subscribers.
