Vladimir Savkin is appointed the director of information technology of JSC Vympelcom


JSC Vympelcom declares Vladimir Savkin's appointment to a position of the director of information technology.

At a new position Vladimir should be responsible for full introduction of new IT strategy of the company in which center there is a client. Among priorities – increase of reliability of work of IT systems, transformation of IT architecture for support of all business processes and development of digital-channels, increase of convenience of work with us of clients, and also reduction of terms of a conclusion to the market of new products.

"Information technologies – one of key functions of modern service company, in many respects depend on its successful work satisfaction of clients and efficiency of business in general. Therefore it is difficult to overestimate importance of tasks which Vladimir and its team should solve. I am sure that his professional experience and personal qualities will allow our company to go not simply in step with technologies and inquiries of clients, but also to advance time", – the executive vice-president for development of infrastructure Andrey Patoka emphasized.

Vladimir came to the Vympelcom company in 2009 to a position of the head of department of the business analysis of modules of human resource management. Since 2012 headed ERP department (Enterprise Resources Planning). Since October, 2013 fulfills duties of the director of information technology. The career of the beginnings in one of universities of the Netherlands where was engaged in scientific researches. After that worked in various system integrators where was responsible for introduction, development and support of ERP systems (control systems of resources of the enterprise). Vladimir graduated from physical faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University, has degree of the candidate of physical and mathematical sciences.
