The TyumenFree network summed up the results of two years of work.

145 thousand users, 134 points of Wi-fi and continuous development of infrastructure – the current status of the project which is fallen in love to all inhabitants of area. The regional network of the free Internet was open within the program of the governor "Expanding the horizons" on May 25, 2012. The pilot project totaled only 22 points in Tyumen, over time the network became available and in all cities of the South of the Tyumen region. Thus, in area the course on increase of availability of Internet resources to the population is supported. Two years later even more often from citizens addresses with requests arrive to open additional points.

In August, 2013 in a network the record is set: 9390 inhabitants of the South of area became users of a network. Popularity does not fall down and till today – in April of the current year 7034 persons were registered. Most often residents of Tyumen come into the Internet in the color boulevard, 400-letiya Square, on ZhD the station and at the airport. Popularity of these points practically does not fall from the beginning of network functioning.

Short history of the project:

On May 25, 2012 – official opening, start of 33 points in Tyumen

On July 1, 2012 – start of 21 points in Tyumen

January, 2013 – start of 3 points in Tyumen

On May 24, 2013 – start of the first 10 points in the cities of the South of area, increase of speed.
