JSC Kaliningrad-Transtelekom since the beginning of 2014 increased technical coverage of a network of broadband Internet access in the Kaliningrad region by 10%


The TTK company since the beginning of 2014 increased technical coverage of a network of broadband Internet access (ShPD) in the Kaliningrad region by 10%. For the end of April, 2014 technical coverage of the ShPD network in the region made about 67 thousand households in 910 apartment houses.

Today the high-speed Internet from JSC Kaliningrad-Transtelekom (TTK-Kaliningrad), the regional enterprise of the TTK company, is available to inhabitants of Kaliningrad, Baltiysk, Mamonovo, the settlements of Kolosovka, Lyublino and Ozerki of the Guards region of the Kaliningrad region.

For the first 4 months 2014 about 80 houses were connected to TTK communication network in area. The highest level of penetration of service of Internet access from TTK in technical coverage of a network in the region is recorded in Baltiysk where exceeds 50%. In Kaliningrad the level of penetration of service ShPD in technical coverage of a network makes 20%.

"We continue construction of the ShPD network in Kaliningrad. Soon we plan to connect to the TTK network of even more than 190 houses in the Moscow and Leningrad districts of the city", – Gennady Schukin, the CEO commented on TTK-Kaliningrad.

TTK-Kaliningrad offers inhabitants of the Kaliningrad region the Internet with a speed of access from 30 to 70 Mbps and a monthly fee from 350 to 700 rubles a month respectively. The most popular offer is the tariff with a speed of 50 Mbps over 500 rubles a month.
