JSC Samara-Transtelekom connected a hostel of the Penza state university of architecture and construction to the Internet


The TTK company connected a hostel of the Penza state university of architecture and construction (PGUAS) to the Internet.

The project is realized within the Available Internet to Higher Education Institutions program of the JSC Samara-Transtelekom company (TTK-Samara), the TTK regional enterprise. As a result of the signed contract, all students living in PGUAS hostel can be connected to broadband Internet access from TTK at a speed up to 100 Mbps.

"The available Internet to higher education institutions project in regions of our presence is realized since 2012, and during this time we provided communication services more than to 50 hostels of educational institutions of the Volga region. In Penza the Internet from TTK-Samara is available in 6 student's hostels where more than 1000 people are our subscribers", – the director of development of a network of access TTK-Samara Dmitry Aslanov commented.

"High technologies are today an integral part of educational process. They are necessary for students in preparation for occupations, examinations, additional sources of knowledge can be found on pages of various educational sites. We are sure that the qualitative Internet from federal provider will be the reliable assistant to our students in the course of training", – the director of the Center of ensuring informatization of PGUAS Leonid Vasin noted.

The Penza state university of architecture and construction (PGUAS) – one of the largest higher education institutions of the Volga region, the leading scientific and methodical center on training of bachelors, certified specialists, masters and scientific shots in the sphere of construction and architecture. More than 6 thousand people annually are trained in higher education institution, educational process is conducted by about 350 teachers.
