In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Sergey Simaychenkov is appointed the director of the branch of JSC Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), the press service of the company reported.

Earlier S. Simaychenkov held senior positions in the companies of a FMCG segment in the Tyumen region (Mars, "Baltic"), and in 2005-2009 headed MTS branch in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Realization of strategy of communications operator in the region will fall within the scope of its responsibility: development of networks 3G/4G, construction of network transport infrastructure, development and deployment of innovative services, development of retail network and alternative channels of sales in the remote northern uluses, improvement of quality of client service, a conclusion to the market of new products and services of MTS.
