"Rostelecom" will invest in the Russian companies – producers of the telecommunication equipment in the next 2-3 years


The communications operator "Rostelecom" will invest in the Russian companies – producers of the telecommunication equipment in the next 2-3 years, reported ITAR-TASS the president of the company Sergey Kalugin within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"We are ready to invest in technologies, which komplimentarna to our business. In particular, it will promote import substitution", – Kalugin specified.

According to him, investments into the companies will arrive "is mediated". "It is quite possible that we not will invest, but our partners – funds or financial investors under guarantees from our party will invest. It, maybe, more difficult design, but here everyone has the place", – the head of the company noted.

"Our purpose that national producers had a big share in our purchases, now their share makes 30-40%, it is important for us that it passed a mark of 50%", – Kalugin added.
