"Rostelecom" and "Iskrauraltel" signed the cooperation agreement in area of modernization and development of communication networks


JSC Rostelecom and the Russian producer of the telecommunication equipment of JSC Iskrauraltel signed the agreement on large-scale cooperation in modernization and development of communication networks within taking place in these days in Moscow of the XXVI International exhibition of information technologies and communication services of "Svyaz-Expokomm-2014".

The document was signed by the senior vice-president for operation of communication networks of "Rostelecom" Alexander Tseitlin and the CEO of "Iskrauraltel" Vladislav Davydov.

The purpose of the agreement is development of long-term mutually beneficial cooperation for modernization and development of communication networks "Rostelecom" and increases of efficiency of their work taking into account world experience and use of technologies and decisions of "Iskrauraltel".

"Our company makes quite great demands of the applied equipment taking into account large volumes and high speed of data transmission, etc., – the senior vice-president for operation of communication networks of "Rostelecom" Alexander Tseitlin speaks. – Long-term experience of our cooperation shows that "Iskrauraltel" makes the certified equipment and provides guaranteed quality services. The new agreement allows to expand a range of use of the domestic equipment of communication and the domestic technologies used at construction of networks and objects of communication of "Rostelecom".

Within large-scale cooperation of the party intend to expand development and adaptations of system and application software, increase of level of localization in Russia of production of the modern telecommunication equipment, to achieve the maximum return from use of the equipment taking into account modern requirements of technological standards for compatibility, reliability and safety. Improvement of system of service and system of vocational training engineering and technicians of "Rostelecom" has to become an important component of interaction.
