The former director of the Ural region of "Vympelcom" Andrey Kurdanov headed the macroregion "Urals" of the operator "Tele2 Russia".

On May 28 ComNews reported the source close to Tele2 about it. In the press service of the operator confirmed information. Andrey Kurdanov took a new position in the company after the operator passed to new macroregional structure within integration of mobile assets of "Rostelecom".

"As the CEO of the macroregion "Urals" Andrey will be responsible for development of business of Tele2 in the macroregion and improvement of the main operational and financial performance", – the press secretary of Tele2 Irina Rybakova explained on May 28 to the reporter of ComNews.

Before arrival to "Tele2 Russia" Andrey Kurdanov worked as the director of the Ural region of JSC Vympelcom, and earlier held a post of the head of capital branch of JSC "Megafon".

Andrey Kurdanov was born on October 26, 1968 in the city of Birsk. In 1994 graduated from the Moscow technical institute of communication and informatics majoring in "Multichannel telecommunication" (qualification "Engineer"). From 1990 to 2001 worked as the engineer of telecommunication, the supervising foreman of the digital combined AMTS/automatic telephone exchange, the foreman of digital, switching systems and mobile communication of production of MTTS JSC Tambovskaya elektrosvyaz. (Till July, 2009 – JSC MSS-Volga Region) came to Volga region "MegaFon" in January, 2001, having begun career with a position of the chief of group of operation of technical department. In August, 2001 held a post of the technical director. Since February, 2004 was the First Deputy CEO, and since April, 2009 – the director of Volga region branch of "MegaFon" and the board member of the company. In February, 2011. it is appointed to a position of the director of Capital branch of "MegaFon". In February, 2013 it is appointed to a position of the regional director of the Ural region "Vympelcom". In 2014 it is appointed the CEO of the macroregion "Urals" of Tele2. It is married, brings up the daughter and the son.
