By 2016 will control the movement of all buses of Moscow area through GLONASS


State Unitary Enterprise MO Mostransavto in 2014-2015 will pass to full monitoring of control of execution of the schedule with public transport through GLONASS system, the CEO of the enterprise Vadim Sidorenkov reported to "Interfax" on Tuesday.

"All last deliveries of buses were on technical requirements with systems of GLONASS and all arriving buses also will be equipped with this system. The GLONASS system allows to carry out many functions, the most important of which – control of a site of the vehicle for control of performance of flights and, the most important, implementation of the schedule. Unfortunately, not everywhere still there is a sufficient cover zone. A problem of 2014-2015 in passing to full monitoring of control of execution of the schedule of vehicles by means of GLONASS system", – V. Sidorenkov told.

According to him, by means of GLONASS there is a possibility of operational transfer of data both on technical malfunction of buses, and about new systems, like the passenger traffic monitoring system which is tested now.
