The press service of the operator reported that "Vympelcom" realizes new business strategy of the company "Simply. Conveniently. For You", development of a network and improvement of a communication quality became one of which directions.

Within the program of active modernization of a network for 80% of base stations "Beeline" of the third generation in Novosibirsk (on area – 40%) the second bearing frequency is activated and the Dual Carrier HSPA technology + is started. "It allowed to increase considerably the capacity of a network and to increase the greatest possible speed of the mobile Internet to 42,2 Mbps. Besides Novosibirsk, new speeds are available in such cities of area, as Berdsk, Barabinsk, Kuibyshev. It allows subscribers to use with higher comfort multimedia content on the Internet: to watch stream video, to listen to music, to send or load volume files", – the press service noted.

According to the company, the increase in speed of data transmission together with continuous increase of interest to the mobile Internet naturally leads to growth of volume of the consumed Internet traffic. So, the general traffic of data transmission in a network "Beeline" of the Novosibirsk region in 1 quarter 2014 by 2,2 times exceeded a similar indicator of last year. It in many respects is explained by growth of popularity of smartphones and tablets: their quantity in a network "Beeline" of the region grew by 42% and 50% respectively (when comparing indicators of March, 2013 and March, 2014).

The press service "Beeline" noted that grow not only volumes of consumption, but also number of users. Today from mobile devices goes 41% of subscribers on-line "Beeline" of the Novosibirsk region.

"One of the most important postulates of our new strategy is compliance to expectations and needs of clients. Therefore key incentive for development and modernization of a network is constantly growing interest to the mobile Internet, – the regional director of the Siberian region of the Vympelcom company Sergey Kozerod noted. – Now subscribers want to receive on the mobile devices approximately same speeds, as on the desktop computer with broadband Internet access. Introducing new technologies on a network, we sure rates move in this direction".

"All our actions within development of a network yield real results which are really notable for our subscribers, – the technical director of the Siberian region of the Vympelcom company Hamid Nurgaleev told. – By results of own measurements on MQA system at the heart of which the user characteristics of quality of the mobile Internet lie, "Beeline" in the Novosibirsk region takes the leading positions on a key indicator – the average speed of data transmission in a network 3G. To make this speed is even higher – on average by 1,5 times – activation of two bearing frequencies on base stations and start of the HSPA+ technology DC allows".

According to the research MQA conducted in the I quarter 2014, the average speed of the mobile Internet in a network 3G "Beeline" of the Novosibirsk region exceeds 3 Mbps.
