The Krasnodar branch of JSC "Vympelcom" in 2014 predicts the gain of quantity of base stations in Krasnodar Krai and Adygea at the level of 16% expected a gain in the first half of the year will make 8%, the deputy technical branch director Yury Rudenko reported to "Interfax" on Sunday.

"Input new 2G and 3G of base stations will allow to improve quality of a voice communication in small settlements with the population to 15 thousand people. Work on decrease in percent of the overloaded stations is at the same time conducted. In the current year this indicator should not exceed 5% of their total", – Yu. Rudenko noted.

In the large cities of Kuban and Adygea the emphasis is placed on increase in speed of data transmission. For this purpose the new or modernized stations of the third generation often need to be placed in zones of a dense housing estate, in close proximity to social objects.

"Control of observance of maximum permissible levels of electromagnetic radiation is exercised by specialists of Rospotrebnadzor who give out permission to input of object of communication only after carrying out control measurements", – Yu. Rudenko explained.

The day before in the presence of journalists specialists experts surveyed intensity of a magnetic field round a base station 3G in Novorossiysk on Lunacharsky St., 1 which "Vympelcom" plans to bring into operation in June.

According to the obtained data, energy stream density in close proximity to object appeared below a threshold of sensitivity of measuring devices. In 20 meters from antennas the power of radiation did not exceed 1 mkvt / quarter see.

"In the territory of the Russian Federation the hygienic norm is considered the 10 radiation mkvt / sq. cm that is 10 times less, than in a number of the western countries, such, for example, as Germany or the USA", – the specialist expert of Department of Rospotrebnadzor after the Krasnodar edge Oleg Pchelnik commented on results of research.

Now the network "Beeline" captured more than 90% of the territory of Krasnodar Krai and Adygea. Coverage by a network 3G reaches 80-85% (more than 300 settlements).
