JSC Vympelcom intends to bring until the end of 2014 LTE covering level in Rostov-on-Don to 100%, the executive director of the Rostov branch "Vympelcom "Andrey Titorenko at the press conference devoted to official start of LTE in Rostov-on-Don for users reported on June 5.

"Approximately a month ago, on May 16, official start of networks 4G took place (the high-speed Internet on the LTE technology), and we already observe a big demand of this technology among consumers. Therefore by the end of 2014 we plan to increase a covering of this network by 30%", – A. Titorenko told, having noted that now the level of a covering of a network makes 70%.

JSC Vympelcom put into commercial operation the LTE network in Rostov-on-Don and Stavropol in the middle of May, 2014. Earlier in Youzhny's zone and North Caucasus region the LTE network was started by JSC Vympelcom in the Astrakhan region, the Republics of Adygea, Kalmykia and Ingushetia.
