JSC
Baikal-Transtelekom starts a tariff plan with a speed of Internet access of 100
Mbps in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)
The TTK company increases the speed of Internet access on all tariff
plans and reduces a monthly fee for inhabitants of the Republic of Sakha
(Yakutia). For the first time in the history of the region the Internet at a
record speed of 100 Mbps became available to private users.
Speed is increased twice on all tariffs: "Dream" with 4 to 7
Mbps, "Swing" with 10 to 20
Mbps, "Fly" with 20 to 50 Mbps. On average a monthly fee on tariffs
"Swing" and "Fly" it is lowered by 20% to 1500 and 2500
rubles a month respectively. Thus the maximum speed of Internet access on the
most high-speed tariff "Overtake" it is increased twice to 100 Mbps,
and the monthly fee is lowered by
45% and makes 3500 rubles a month.
Besides, package offers "Internet + TV" became available to
inhabitants of Yakutsk. Subscribers can connect any of the offered tariff plans
and 63 channels of cable TV. Thus the
cost of services in a package is lower, than separately.
"One and a half years ago in Yakutia there was no fiber-optical
infrastructure, and today it is already possible to say that quality and
availability of Internet access in the republic came to all-federal level.
Having started the first TTK optical highway in Yakutia, we declared plans gradually to reduce
tariffs and to increase speed,
in process of connection of subscribers and development of networks of access,
and we hold the promises", – Svetlana Shamzon, the vice-president of TTK –
the head of the Access block noted.
"TTK became the first provider in Yakutia who offered inhabitants
the speed of the Internet of 100 Mbps, – the CEO of JSC Baikal-Transtelekom
(TTK-Baikal) Nikolay Kalugin commented. – Thus, since the beginning of
providing services by us in
Yakutia the maximum speed which is available to inhabitants of the region,
increased by 20 times".
