The size of the market of office automatic telephone exchanges in Russia in 2013 made 1,64 million ports


Total capacity of UATS put in 2013 on the market of Russia made 1,64 million ports, it is 11% lower, than in 2012. The leader of the market there was a Panasonic company.

The size of the market of the office automatic telephone exchanges (OATE) in Russia in 2013, proceeding from the capacity of the put equipment, made 1,64 million ports, reports J’son & Partners Consulting.

In comparison with 2012 in capacitor expression the market was reduced by 11%. Dynamics worsened – in 2012 reduction made 2% in relation to 2011.

The lion's share of the Russian UATS market is occupied by deliveries to a segment of medium and small business (SMB). Thus, falling of the UATS market is caused by low purchasing activity of small and medium-sized enterprises that is partly connected with delay of growth rates of the Russian economy, state in J&P.

"It confirms also that fact that at the Panasonic company, practically which all UATS are calculated on SMB segment, in 2013 considerable reduction of number of the sold ports was observed. In addition the market is affected by the competition to services substitutes, such as virtual automatic telephone exchanges", – were commented by experts.

Panasonic remains the leader in sales of UATS in Russia. The Avaya, LG, Asterisk/Digium and Cisco companies which occupied in the general structure of the Russian sales in 2013 13%, 10%, 7% and 5% respectively were among also leading players of the market.
