In "The center of hygiene and epidemiology in Sverdlovsk region" the system of the unified communications on the basis of Avaya Aura Communication Manager is created
The Avaya company reports about implementation of the project on equipment of Federal budgetary healthcare institution "The center of hygiene and epidemiology in Sverdlovsk region" by system of the unified communications on the basis of Avaya Aura Communication Manager.
The organization of effective communications and information transfer becomes today the prime purpose of any company. In particular it belongs to the enterprises of health care, urged quickly and to react professionally to inquiries and the address of clients.
The extensive branch network of the Center needed standardization of decisions on the organization of IP-telephonies system, decrease in expenses on city both a domestic long distance communication and its service, creation of modern system of interfilial interaction, and also the organization of effective collaboration between the staff of the Center. Therefore the project was started, the Urals Integration company having high examination in the field of creation of corporate information systems, telecommunication infrastructure and systems of a video conferencing with use of the equipment Avaya became the developer and which performer.
During the project realized in 3 months the system of the unified communications in the following divisions was constructed:
Head office in Yekaterinburg;
3 branches in Yekaterinburg;
6 branches in Sverdlovsk region.
At head office the failure-safe cluster from two Avaya Aura Communication Manager servers, two locks of G450 for connection of TFOP channels and connection of analog subscribers is established. For part of subscribers IP phones 9640G and 9608 are installed. In branches in Yekaterinburg IP phones 9608 and 1603 are installed. In branches in Sverdlovsk region locks of G450 and G430 for connection of TFOP channels and analog subscribers, and also IP phones 9608 and 1603 are established.
Management of all infrastructure is carried out on the basis of Avaya Aura Communication Manager. For ensuring operability of system of a telephony at refusal of a communication channel between branch and head office the mechanism of local basic fault tolerance is used (Standard Local Survivability – SLS).
The main complexity of this project was migration of the existing analog subscribers and the TFOP analog communication lines on the new equipment with the minimum influence on work of staff of the Center. In the majority of branches there was no operational documentation on system of a telephony that made migration process a nontrivial task.
"the Urals Integration" were carried out by employees the careful analysis of systems of a telephony in all branches and the plan on the basis of which painless migration on the design scheme is executed is prepared.
Results of the project
Development of the technological decision on the organization of system of the unified communications is executed;
Supply of equipment is executed. Balancing and commissioning and start of system in working operation are made;
Costs of purchase of the equipment at the expense of possibility of flexible use of new decisions at preservation of necessary analog systems are reduced;
The centralized, scalable and failure-safe decision on the organization of communication between branches is constructed;
Efficiency of interaction between the staff of the organization due to emergence of a unified plan of telephone numbering increased.
Considerably quality of service of customers increased. Use of a digital stream of E1 at the central office improved quality of telecommunication at communication with external subscribers. Automatic voice greetings, possibility of a vector donabor of internal customer address are introduced.
Implementation of the project with use of the equipment Avaya solved all put business challenges therefore soon it is planned to expand the list of branches where the system of the unified communications of Avaya will be introduced.

Branches of the Center were connected to corporate IP-telephony and are united in a common information space on the basis of a corporate multiservice network of data transmission. It allowed to improve operational management and interaction of our branches and as to optimize process of rendering services to the population.
