In Chuvashia VOLS the village Red Army and the Chapayevsky settlement of Cheboksary are completely captured

"Rostelecom" captured the FTTB network the village of Krasnoarmeysk and the Chapayevsky settlement of the city of Cheboksary of the Chuvash Republic

"Rostelecom" captured the VOLS network the village of Krasnoarmeysk and the Chapayevsky settlement of the city of Cheboksary of the Chuvash Republic, having connected to optical communication lines of 77 multi-storey buildings (more than 3 thousand households).

In total since the beginning of 2014 the regional branch of the company in the territory of Chuvashia  put into operation more than 4,2 thousand ports of the FTTB network ("optics to the building"). Thus, mounted capacity on this technology made  nearly 90 thousand ports. From January to June about 40 km of an optical fiber were laid, 85 more km of the VOLS lines will be constructed until the end of the year.

"Accumulation of technological advantage due to the accelerated construction  of fiber-optical networks – one of strategic tasks of our company. We actively build a network not only in large settlements, but also on all republic. Thus, over the past few years we laid more than 2000 km of optical communication lines, and the optics in the house is today in many regional centers", – the branch director in the Chuvash Republic notes JSC Rostelecom  Sergey Ivanov.

Connection to a high-speed network of data transmission on the FTTx technology is available today to inhabitants of Cheboksary, Novocheboksarsk, Kanash, Kozlovki, Mariinsky  Posada, Tsivilsk, the Mythical stone, Shumerli, the settlements of Kugesi, Urmara, Vurnara, Ibresi, the villages of Morgausha, Sinyala and Red Army, and also to inhabitants of small settlements. Soon are completely captured by the VOLS network also will be the village of Poretskoye and Yadrin.

High capacity of an optical network of data transmission on the FTTx technology  allows to provide to subscribers of the company a full range of communication services: high-speed Internet access, convenient and modern telecommunication, Interactive TV.

The FTTx technology means allocation of the optical channel with a high capacity  which is completely protected from electromagnetic and radio-frequency  hindrances and not depending on weather conditions.
