The Vympelcom company (trademark "Beeline") started the Dual Carrier technology (DC-HSPA+) on a half of base stations of the third generation in the Kemerovo region, including in a resort zone Sheregesh.

The press service of the operator reported that this technology allows to increase considerably the greatest possible speed of the mobile Internet (to 42 Mbps) and to increase network capacity.

According to the company, the average user speed of data transmission in a network 3G "Beeline" of the Kemerovo region exceeds 3 Mbps. At such speed clients can comfortably look through video in high quality, quickly load multimedia files and use other opportunities.

Possibilities of the HSPA+ protocol DC are available on the devices supporting this technology. It is a number of popular smartphones and tablets.

"Introduction of innovations is a significant part of the general program for improvement of quality of the mobile Internet and one of strategically important tasks for our company. In parallel with it, we continue to expand our 3G-network the quantity of base stations in which increased by a quarter only for the last year. And that for us it is especially significant, our clients appreciate it – the volume of the consumed traffic constantly grows", – the director of the Barnaul branch of JSC "Vympelcom" Andrey Lapikov noted.

The press service of the operator also reported that the amount of information, the Kemerovo region downloaded by clients "Beeline" for the first three months of this year, more than twice exceeds last year's indicators.
