Average speed of broadband Internet access in Russia grew in the last two years more than by 4 times. On service cost as much decreased, counted "Coherent".

In the previous year this indicator made 31 Mbps, and still a year ago – 11 Mbps. "Coherent" counted also the average cost of ShPD – analysts divided an average monthly monthly fee into average speed in Mbps. According to TelecomDaily, levels of penetration of ShPD and paid television in Russia make now 52 and 62% respectively. By the beginning of April, 2014 in Russia 27,6 million subscribers of ShPD were, for their quarter became about 0,5 million more. Ranks of subscribers of paid TV for the first three months 2014 extended on 0,7 million and reached 35 million. Analysts who were interrogated earlier by "Sheets", recognized that the ShPD market in regions approaches saturation. Growth of number of subscribers is slowed down: if in the I quarter 2013 the gain to the level of year prescription made more than 6%, in the I quarter 2014 – only 5%. In regions the average speed of ShPD from MTS grew in two years many times and now makes 50-60 Mbps. Payments of users too grow, but more slowly: in the I quarter 2014 of ARPU of the subscriber of a fixed telephony of MTS in Russia grew by the similar period of last year by 5%.

The largest Russian operator ShPD – "Rostelecom" seeks to offer a high speed for the same money, it stabilizes ARPU, the representative Valery Kostarev tells it.

Though the specific cost of 1 Mbps decreases, providers even more often bring package offers to the market, uniting ShPD with additional services – paid TV, a stationary telephony, etc., Zaikina explains. By data "Coherent", additional services were included in 41% of the contracts for ShPD signed in Russia in the I quarter 2014; two years earlier only 26% of ShPD-contracts were the share of package offers. Whereas the share of contracts for the one and only service – connection to the Internet – decreased in two years with 70 to 56,5%.

Packing of several services in one contract compensates decrease in ARPU from ShPD, Aybasheva from "Vympelcom" agrees. ARPU "Akado" even grows due to complex services a little; 50% of new connections are the share of package offers, Rychka tells. And "Rostelecom" has the main driver of the additional income – IPTV and services on its basis, Kostarev speaks.
