Start of the telecommunication satellite "Express AM4P" was not successful. As reported in Roskosmos, the spacecraft together with the accelerating Briz-M block could not separate from the third step of the carrier rocket "Proton-M".

Search of fragments is now conducted. Besides, the destiny of the toxic fuel which was in "Briz-M" is not clear. Experts hope that it burned down in the atmosphere.

The Express AM4P satellite was assembled by the European company EADS Astrium by request of the state enterprise "Space communication" (GPKS). The spacecraft is exact analog of the Express AM4 satellite which was collected also by EADS Astrium.

Start of "Express AM4" too was unsuccessful: the device though went to space, but it appeared in an inappropriate orbit. An insurance premium which GPKS got for this satellite – 7,5 billion rubles. These means also were sent to order to "Express AM4P".

"Express AM4P" had to rise on a position 80 a hail. EL. The satellite had 63 transponder: 30 – in the C-range, 28 – in Ku, 2 – in Ka-and 3 in L). The spacecraft had to be used for various projects: Internet access, telecasting, governmental communication.

In recent years it already the third unsuccessful start of the spacecraft for GPKS: in 2012 there was an accident at a conclusion to an orbit of the television satellite "Express MD2". But since the end of last year in interests of GPKS two successful starts during which "Express AT1" and "Express AT2" were put to orbit the telecommunication satellite "Express AM5" and television took place.
