MTT starts own mobile operator
MTT started in the test mode the project federal the MVNO operator under Aiva Mobile brand


JSC Multiregional Transit Telecom (MTT), the operator of multiservices of communication, IP services, long-distance communication and services of transit of a traffic, declares start in test operation of the Russia's first federal the MVNO operator under Aiva Mobile brand. Target audience of Aiva Mobile are ethnic communities of the countries of the former Soviet Union, first of all, of Central Asia which representatives work in Russia. Tajikistan becomes the first country in which the new operator will be brought into commercial operation. Until the end of 2014 Aiva Mobile will start providing services to mobile communication in two Central Asian countries.

As the partner of JSC MTT in this project the mobile operator, largest in Eastern Europe, – JSC MTS which provided infrastructure of a mobile radio access for the project acted.

In the Aiva Mobile project, the MTT company uses the advantages of one of the largest transit players to the maximum, providing available tariffs for calls to the countries of presence and worldwide by means of own communication network. Aiva Mobile is the Russia's first full-MVNO using from the basic operator only infrastructure of a radio access. JSC MTT created for Aiva Mobile full-fledged infrastructure of mobile network operator, including billing system, own GMSC switchboard, HLR system, data links and other technical components. MTT provides the independent admission of the proceeding and entering traffic and provides the numbering belonging to the company in a code (958). It is created as well own call-center which will provide support of subscribers in their native languages.

The most noticeable competitive advantage of the new project is that on one SIM card Aiva Mobile the subscriber gets two at the same time active telephone numbers, Tajik and Russian. Thanks to technology of intellectual routing from MTT, from both numbers it is possible to call and receive calls to any of two countries by "house" tariffs without additional manipulations. When moving between the countries there is no need to change the SIM card or to buy new phone.

"Long-term experience of MTT as telecom operator for business, end users and other communications operators allowed us to realize the first project of the present of full-MVNO, actually – to create the new mobile network operator working at the international market and which is based on infrastructure at once of two operators – MTT and MTS", – Evgeny Vasilyev, the CEO of JSC MTT told.

Start of Aiva Mobile corresponds to strategy of JSC MTT for creation of innovative telecommunication products and an exit with new decisions to the perspective markets as in Russia, and other countries.

At creation of a brand of the virtual mobile operator emotional drivers of target audience were considered. The name Aiva (Quince) has universal, international value which is well perceived in the different countries and different consumers. The warm and positive image of this brand different from other names of mobile network operators, fresh, bright, solar colors symbolize habitual freedom, simplicity and availability of communications of new service to those who is far from the house.
