"MegaFon" opened LTE roaming in Italy in a network of the operator Telecom Italia S.p.A.


"MegaFon" expanded number of the countries with the international LTE roaming. Now subscribers of the operator can use services of superfast data transmission, being in the territory of Italy. The agreement on opening of roaming is concluded with the Telecom Italia S.p.A company. Italy became the eighth country in which high-speed data transmission is available to clients of "MegaFon".

At the moment "MegaFon" is in the lead among the Russian operators by number of the countries captured by LTE roaming. Earlier international 4G-roaming was open in Switzerland, France, South Korea, Canada, the USA, Spain and Hong Kong.

The mobile Internet of "the fourth generation" allows to reduce time of loading of "heavy" content considerably. Users 4G from "MegaFon" can communicate on social networks, look through photo and video files, to load cards and to work with e-mail at speeds up to 100 Mbps, even being in the international roaming. For this purpose it is necessary to check, whether supports your tablet or the smartphone technology 4G and if necessary to connect the roaming option "Holiday Online" for optimization of expenses.
