In "Samaraenergo" the billing system is put into commercial operation
The Open Technologies company introduced an automated control system for sale of the electric power and calculations with consumers in JSC Samaraenergo


The Open Technologies company, the Russian system integrator, and JSC Samaraenergo, the largest power supply company of Central Volga Area, report about end of the project of introduction of an automated control system for sale of the electric power and calculations with consumers (SERP ACS).

The project of development and deployment of billing system in "Samaraenergo" started at the end of 2010.

Till its beginning in each office of the company the registration system that led to data input duplication was used, created difficulties in formation of the consolidated reporting and complicated interaction with the network organizations.

For improvement of quality of customer service and optimization of system of payment for the consumed electric energy the decision on introduction of a modern and effective control system of the power marketing activity allowing to improve continuously business processes of sales, the account, planning and forecasting of loading and the prices of electric energy was made.

Following the results of the held competition as the performer of the project the company Open Technologies was chosen.

During works on the project as the system integrator together with the customer large volume of work was done:

business processes of the company are formalized;
control of system is carried out; migration of data from previous the EXPERT "Energoofis";
the new functionality which is absent in the basic version of system is created;
key and end users are trained;
the service of technical support of end users is created.


The billing system is constructed on the basis of software products of SAP: SAP Solution Manager (management of the decision), SAP for Utilities and SAP Business Object (analytical platform). As a technical platform the solution of Fujitsu FlexFrame for SAP providing scalability and fault tolerance of system at all levels is used (HW, OS, VM, appendices of SAP).

As a result of implementation of the decision centralization of information streams and optimization of processes of formation of the reporting is provided, operational costs are reduced and financial transparency of activity of the organization is increased.

Input of ACS of SERP in commercial operation regarding natural persons was carried out in October, 2012, regarding legal entities – in 2014.

At the moment the decision successfully functions in all offices of "Samaraenergo", in system calculations more than with 540 000 inhabitants and more than with 17 200 industrial enterprises are carried out. Samara region.
